CCSEH890 mechanical properties

7.4.1 - The mechanical properties of steel shall conform to the provisions of Table 6 and Table 7. For ultra-high-strength grades, the tensile strength of the steel in the thickness direction should not be less than 80% of the specified minimum tensile strength.

7.4.2 When taking impact test samples for steel with a thickness of 6 mm~<12 mm (or a diameter of 12 mm~<16 mm), small size specimens of 5 mm× 10 mm×55 mm and 7.5 mm×10 mm×55 mm can be taken respectively, and the impact absorption energy is not less than 2/3 and 5/6 of the specified value respectively. Larger specimens are preferred.

7.4.3, the impact test results of steel are calculated according to the arithmetic mean of a set of 3 samples, and one of the test values is allowed to be lower than the specified value, but should not be less than 70% of the specified value.

7.4.4.. The thickness direction performance steel thickness direction section shrinkage rate shall be in accordance with the provisions of Table 8. The arithmetic mean of the 3 specimens shall not be lower than the average value specified in Table 8, and only the single value of one of the specimens shall be allowed to be lower than the average value specified in Table 8, but shall not be lower than the small single value of the corresponding steel grade in Table 8.

CCSEH890 in the field of offshore oil and gas exploitation, Japan, Germany, France and other countries have mastered the large-thickness specifications and high-performance steels suitable for various deep offshore drilling platforms, operating platforms, oil and gas carriers and other offshore equipment. At present, foreign countries have been able to produce oil and gas pipeline steel with strict plasticity, toughness, corrosion resistance and fatigue resistance used in 3,000-meter deep water areas.
